Glad to hear I’m not the only one, but I wouldn’t expect a petition to do much good. Apple isn’t exactly known for listening to the demands of people, they prefer to think they know what’s best for their users.

Having said that, it certainly can’t hurt. So if you do start one, let me know and I’ll join in.

Hi Alexis!

I’ve also been thinking about the lack of these in Mobile Safari and thought that, if I could encounter more people who share the same view about this, we could start one of those on-line petitions to ask Apple to provide said functionality for us.

I don’t know if this would actually work, but I think it’s worth a try, don’t you think?
